Connecting current and aspiring mediators

Whether you’re an experienced mediator, newly accredited, or curious about a future in mediation, the Mediation Coffee Catch‑Up invites you to connect with peers and be part of a growing mediation community.

Hosted by the Queensland Law Society Dispute Resolution Committee, this brand‑new event is designed to bring together current and aspiring mediators in an informal, welcoming setting. Over coffee, you’ll have the opportunity to network, share experiences, and hear directly from the Committee about key developments in the profession, including an update on the new mediation standards effective from 1 July 2025.

What to expect:

  • A short welcome from the Chair or representative of the Dispute Resolution Committee
  • An update on the new mediation standards commencing 1 July 2025
  • Informal networking with accredited and aspiring mediators
  • A chance to connect with fellow solicitor‑mediators over coffee

This free event is open to QLS‑accredited mediators, as well as QLS members who are accredited elsewhere or interested in becoming a mediator.

Numbers are capped to support meaningful conversation, so register early to secure your spot.
