Build a compliant AML/CTF Program and stay on top of your ongoing obligations in this practical, full-day workshop with compliance experts Holley Nethercote.
With regulatory body AUSTRAC actively auditing Australian businesses under the new Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Amendment Act 2024, now is the time to assess your compliance.
Hosted by the Queensland Law Society and Holley Nethercote Compliance, the AML Bootcamp will guide legal practitioners to develop and maintain their AML/CTF Program, meet their reporting obligations, conduct customer due diligence, and prepare for independent evaluation.
During the workshop, attendees will customise their own AML/CTF Program template, including an ML/TF risk assessment, to meet the needs of their firm, and understand how to maintain their program going forward.
Topics covered in this full-day workshop will include:
- Governance structure
- ML/TF risk assessment including a customisable template
- Personnel due diligence and staff training
- Customer (client) due diligence
- Reporting obligations
- Program reviews and updates Independent evaluations
Attendees will also receive access to the full suite of AML/CTF supporting tools from Holley Nethercote, including registers, checklists, agendas, and procedures.
Workshop registrations are open to legal practitioners and support staff. The registration fee covers two attendees from each firm, offering a high-value solution to becoming compliance-ready.
